Access Control includes the installation of IP based security cameras, card readers, and various electronic sensors which integrate via control panels to the LAN.

 

Oct 2012 – Aug 2103 Cigna Health Services Greenwood Village, CO Voice/Data Support

Responsible for daily moves, adds, and changes on Avaya 8700 digital and Cisco IP phone systems.

Also provide daily support for Cisco 6500 data switches, routers, internal WiFi systems.

Nov 2010 – July 2012 JPI Worldwide, Inc Iraq – Afghanistan – VSAT Systems Installer

Responsible for installation and maintenance of vsat satellite communications systems for civilian companies in Iraq and the US Military in Afghanistan primarily at remote combat outposts. Systems supported ISP and networking for data and VOIP service.

Responsible for converting local Sam’s Club from Meridian phone system to Cisco VOIP system during a store remodeling project. This also included replacing all copper and fiber infrastructure including the relocation of the data center (computer room). This was a temporary 13 week project

Job duties included fiber splicing and installation and maintenance of routers and switches for NIPR and SIPR data/voip applications.

Responsible for installation and support of Avaya digital and VOIP telephone systems throughout Colorado and the United States. Related duties included customer support, vendor interaction, and onsite customer training.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and administration of Mitel 200 switches and related support equipment, fiber and T1 interface, data and voice infrastructure, etc. I am certified on Mitel 200 switches. This position was originally with SMI International, a telecom contractor with whom I was employed specifically for this project. Intel experienced a 95% reduction in workforce; I was one of the last 5% still employed prior to plant closing.

 

Aug 1998 - May 2000 COMPAQ Corporation, Colorado Springs, CO - Telecom Analyst  Responsible for supporting all telecommunications for Wells Fargo Banks as an outsourced contractor. This position required extensive knowledge of a wide variety of PBX and key system including AT&T Definity G3R, Northern Telecom SL-1 and Meridian, Rolm and Toshiba. Responsibilities included administration of Octel and Meridian voice mail. Project management duties included upgrading and replacing PBX systems and coordinating various vendor interaction.

 

Nov 1997 - August 1998 AUDIO ANALYSTS, Colorado Springs, CO – Electronics Technician. Responsible for installing, calibrating, and servicing commercial sound systems in the Denver/Colorado Springs area. Installations were primarily in school systems, churches, and larger facilities including the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Between installations, responsibilities included repair of complex sound reinforcement systems returned from musical touring groups such as Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain, and Wynonna Judd.
